三、研究领域和兴趣

主要从事群落生态学、理论生态学和生物入侵等领域的研究。

研究兴趣以生物多样性为核心，主要包括1）生物多样性在时空中的起因、维持和分布；2）全球变化因子（如气候变化、元素沉降、生物入侵等）对生物多样性的影响；3）生物多样性与生态系统功能、稳定性等的关系；4）生物入侵；5）生态-进化动态等。为了探索这些问题，综合运用理论模型、控制实验、野外观测和整合数据分析等研究手段，致力于探求跨尺度、跨营养级的一般性规律。目前主要以我国西部地区生态系统尤其是青藏高原高寒草地生态系统为研究平台和对象，同时通过结合多种研究手段（如微生物实验、理论模型和整合数据分析等）探索跨生态系统的普适性规律。
